Who We Are

Amy Black

Founder & Curator
The Cursed Page

Years in the industry

At the helm of our curated collection is Amy Black. Bringing over 30 years of profound experience across the book and events industry — spanning independent bookshops, major retail management, and the coordination of large-scale conventions — Amy has a lifelong devotion to the literary world.

Her vision for The Cursed Page is rooted in the belief that a bookstore must be a vibrant "third space." Moving beyond standard transactional shopping, Amy is dedicated to crafting a true community hub where readers, authors, and historians can gather, connect, and discover.

A fierce advocate for physical media and tactile retail experiences, Amy's expertise lies in meticulous curation. She fills our shelves with haunting regional legends, local New England authors, and stunning hardcover editions. Whether she is shaping our immersive Parlour Nocturne seminars on historical and macabre topics, training our passionate staff, or simply recommending the perfect gothic thriller, Amy is dedicated to ensuring every visitor feels welcomed into our otherworldly environment.

At The Cursed Page, we aren't just selling books — we are preserving the lore.
